Preparing for School

 

Our pre-school environments help the children to prepare for  full-time education in their future primary schools. During their time within the pre-school, our children are provided with the essential preparation and skills to equip them for the more formal aspects of daily school life.

 

The nurseries foster close links with local primary schools. Our nursery practitioners communicate with the Reception teachers at these schools so as to ensure that there is a smooth transitional process from one setting to the next. Reports, assessments and documentation are also sent from the nurseries to the children’s primary schools to assist with any individual learning requirements and ensure that there is continuity in their curriculum .

 

Government funding is available for children within our pre-school setting.
